Sharp TOKYO Portable Digital Radio - Midnight Black

Compact radio for home and away
The SHARP TOKYO DR-P420(BK) is a compact and lightweight portable radio for listening around the home or while travelling. It combines DAB+/DAB and FM radio with Bluetooth streaming, giving you several ways to enjoy music, news, podcasts and speech.

Clear digital and FM radio
Listen to DAB+/DAB digital radio or FM stations with RDS. Digital Radio Tick certification confirms that the radio has been tested and approved for digital reception. The telescopic aerial helps you find a stronger signal, while automatic scanning locates available stations and automatically updates the time and date.

Save your favourite stations
Store up to 20 DAB+/DAB and 20 FM stations for quick access, with dedicated buttons for presets one, two and three. The automatic memory function can scan the FM frequency band and save the stations it finds, so there is no need to tune each one manually.

Bluetooth streaming
Connect a compatible smartphone, tablet or other device using Bluetooth 5.3. You can stream music, podcasts and other audio through the radio's speaker, with controls for playing, pausing and changing tracks.

Up to 16 hours playback
Power the radio using the supplied USB to Micro USB cable or four AA batteries. Battery power provides up to 16 hours of playback, allowing you to move the radio between rooms, take it into the garden or use it while travelling without needing a nearby socket.

Dual alarm and personal listening
Set two independent alarms and choose a buzzer, DAB station or FM station as the alarm source. Each alarm can be scheduled once, daily, on weekdays or at weekends, while snooze and sleep-timer functions give you greater control at bedtime. The alarm operates when the radio is USB-powered. A 3.5mm headphone socket is also included for private listening, while the backlit LCD and seven display languages make the radio straightforward to use.
